“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the day approaching.”
Even in a church setting, it can be difficult to get to know people on a personal level. We have worked hard to establish many places for adults to connect in different ways for spiritual, physical, and emotional growth.
Our Real Life Groups provide an opportunity to get to know others on a more authentic level where life can be shared. Real Life Groups gather for community, to worship, to study God’s Word, to care for each other, and to serve and play together. God’s Word tells us to “love one another,” to “pray for one another,” and to “build up one another.” Small groups offer us a better opportunity to live this out as we form close relationships with each other, pray for one another’s needs and help each other become growing disciples of Jesus Christ.
Our church understands the challenges that single as well parents face in today's fast-paced world. Throughout the year, we offer classes on spiritual growth as well as baptism and membership. We have leaders and small groups focused on healing and forgiveness, addictions, and even finding a job in Fremont and the Bay Area. At CPC, we want our community to know that we want our members to be cared for emotionally. We are a church that listens to the needs of our members and visitors.
Our gym and facilities gives us many opportunities for physical growth too! We have basketball games, art & craft groups, and we even have Tai Chi and Zumba classes! We usually have a weekly volleyball games for college/young adults on Thursday evening at 7:00pm and we open up our gym on Saturday night at 7:00pm for families to connect together while playing badminton and ping pong.
Currently, we have Life Groups meeting everyday of the week. Some of our Life Groups meet at church and others at homes all across Fremont. We meet at different times of the day to accommodate all ages and work schedules. Life Groups connect people to build stronger relationships with one another as a church community. So come join one of our groups here at CPC!
