Sticky Verses have gone global!
- Sticky Verses started as a way to connect our congregation, help kids memorize Bible verses and help to feed Fremont’s vulnerable populations through CPC’s Free Dining Ministry, but has grown globally helping to connect families and friends living in different countries. We have had participants from five different countries so far, The United States of America, India, Japan, Taiwan and Australia.
- There are so many ways to participate in Sticky Verses. You can sign up to be a sponsor and get matched with one of the child participants at CPC or you can recruit your child, grandchild, nephew, niece, neighbor child, or younger sibling to participate and sponsor them.
After the child or children are signed up, request the Sticky Verses verse sheet and email it to your child. When a child learns a verse, they contact their adult sponsor and speak their memorized verse to their sponsor. If the child memorized the verse correctly then the adult sponsor will give a jar of peanut butter to the Free Dining Ministry.
