CPC KIDs

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We will be posting weekly Children's Ministry material weekly on this page while our congregation is meeting digitally. We will also post some activity ideas for parents to try with their kids as well. On that activity list page, you can also find our children's ministry playlist, the Apostles Creed with motions (video and words), and more specifics on how to lead this week's curriculum at home. We are happy to partner with you in the spiritual shepherding of your children. Please let us know how to support you best during this time.

A big THANK YOU to Lifeway for giving churches temporary permission to post their materials weekly. Out of respect to Lifeway and their intellectual property, we will proceed to delete the previous weeks' material as we post new ones. Lastly, Lifeway is also giving parents free access to their Lifeway At Home online material. Please feel free to take advantage of this resource with your kids

If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to Chris at canderson@cpcfremont.org. We are here for you during this time! Stay healthy!

Sincerely,

Corona Virus and CenterKids Ministry FAQ

What's going on this week? Due to the urgency of the coronavirus outbreak that is now a national emergency, all CPC ministries and worship services are cancelled. We are doing this to avoid further spreading of the coronavirus, and most importantly for the protection of our families and communities.

What will we do in the meantime? Each week, we plan to post children's Bible curriculum and devotionals online on our website, so that our children will continue to grow in the Word while we are not physically meeting. Lifeway publishing has graciously given us the green light to use their materials in this way. I hope that this will be helpful for you all as most students are staying home now with the closure of local school districts.

How long will CenterKids not be meeting? We are not sure yet. As we learn more about the situation, our session will be meeting to discuss these matters. I will be in communication with you via email and also post any announcements on the church website.

If you need anything at all, please reach out to me. We are here for you. In these crazy times, I want to remind everyone once again of Phillipians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." God is sovereign even in this situation, and we needn't be afraid. Instead, as citizens of the Kingdom, we wisely make decisions to bless our community and show each other the love of Jesus in whatever situation.

Please stay healthy and continue to shepherd your kids in spirit and truth.

Our classroom teachers are trained, prayerful individuals who care about your kids and your family and teach biblical principles all while building quality and lasting relationships with the kids. We encourage your kid’s spiritual growth with service opportunities, verse memorization, fun fellowship activities and day camps throughout the year.
