  • Tammy Bergquist

I’ve been attending CPC since the early 1970’s, and a member since 1986.  I have been married to Tim for over 20 years and I have two children, Gunnar 18 and Grace 16.  We also have a white German Shepherd named Elsa.  I’ve been an Elder at CPC for 7+ years, and I have been involved with Children and Youth Ministries.  More recently, my husband and I have been leading a small group in our home.  I am a stay at home mom and I love spending time with the family, walking the dog, and watching sports (especially water polo).

  • Mark fowler

Mark and his wife Mari have lived in Fremont for 30 years and have been attending CPC for 21 years. Mark and Mari have three grown children, Ben, Tommy and Mary, all of whom attended CPC as they were growing up. Mark, who works as an attorney, has served five terms as an Elder at CPC (15 years total to date), was a founding officer and director of CPC’s supporting foundation in 2001 and has continued to serve in that capacity for the last 17 years, has been a small group Bible study leader for many years, taught Sunday school with Mari at CPC for 12 years, and has served on various CPC committees over the years.

  • Lauri Howard

I attended CPC as a teenager, new to the faith, and left to attend college; first in Humboldt County, and eventually in Scott’s Valley where I graduated from Bethany Bible College. In 2007 I found myself back at CPC and quickly joined the choir. I became a member of CPC shortly thereafter. In choir, my friend Jill introduced me to my wonderful husband Stuart, and we were married by Greg Roth in November of 2010. Aside from choir and Centerpeace, Stu and I participate in several ministries together. One of them is Front and Center, the a capella ensemble that sings and shares scripture and personal testimonies at four different convalescent hospitals. We are also deacons, I am the vice moderator, and are on the floral delivery team. I also enjoy cooking each

Thursday for our free diners. I love this church.

“Larry has been with CPC since 1991, along his wife Teresa. Their daughters, Nicole and Kelly, were raised in the CPC family, and are off at college. Larry supports database, financial, and facilities projects at a bank. He looks forward to the privilege of seeking, listening, and discerning has he serves on the PNC.”

  • Mona Mameesh

I have been attending CPC since 2002 and a member since 2010. My daughters, Laila 21, and Sara 18, grew up in the CPC family and are in college now. I have participated in numerous bible studies at CPC and in the area where I enjoy worship, music, community, and knowing Jesus. I find that a great balance with my day job as a marketing manager for a technology company. I am very honored and humbled to be nominated to serve on the Pastor nominating committee. I’m also very excited to experience God’s hand and plans for CPC and listening and following his guidance with this process. “So do not be foolish, but learn what the Lord wants you to do.”   Ephesians 5:17.

  • Sara Mathew

I grew up in a Christian family in Kerala, India. We attended the local Syrian Christian church. I came to USA in 1974 after I got married to my loving husband, George Mathew. George and I have been members of CPC for over 32 years. We have two sons. I was a stay-at-home mom when our boys were young. After that I worked in Real Estate and Mortgage industry.

I served as a Deacon at CPC for 3 years in the 1980’s and then for 6 additional years from 2012 through 2017. During my time as deacon, I served in the senior ministry and flower ministry, both of which are very close to my heart.

I have been volunteering at Centerville Free Dining Room since 2010 first as Salad Preparer and then as one of the Co-directors since 2014.

I also enjoy leading the Tai Chi class at CPC.

Being selected to serve on the PNC committee humbles me. Praying for our Lord’s guidance and wisdom to serve Him.

  • Ken schroeder

15 years ago God called Liz and me to the community at CPC. During our time at CPC I have had the honor of serving in the youth ministry and on session for 8 years and 3 years on the Ministerial Staff Relations Committee. I was the elder liaison/ charter member of the Foundry. My wife and I have led/ facilitated numerous bible studies, but more significantly have grown in our faith with God’s grace and developed many deep and loving relationships with the people of CPC. It would be an honor and a privilege to serve as a representative of the CPC community on the Pastor Nominating Committee.
