Food for the Hungry
Our Beginning
Centerville Free Dining began in July of 1988 to address the need of feeding the hungry in the Tri-city area. Initially, we served dinner once a week. We had only six guests for our very first meal. It didn’t take long for the word to spread in the community of our dining program. Soon the number of guests increased, and the program expanded to meet those needs. Today, at Centerville Free Dining, we serve over 13,800 meals each year.
Our program is run entirely by Volunteers and support from Donors. We work together under our Lord’s direction to “Love and care for one another”.
