Linking the generations through prayer
In October, we launched the Pray for Me Campaign here at CPC and since then we have heard some amazing stories of connection!
The Pray for Me Campaign links the generations in our church through prayer. During the campaign, adult believers from various generations become Prayer Champions and commit to a year of prayer for one student or family with young children in our church family. Each Prayer Champion will be given a name, specific prayer requests, and a Prayer Guide to use daily, praying through seven biblical essentials of growth for their young person.
Our hope and prayer is that this will connect the many generations of our church, as well as fortify the spiritual lives of our students and kids.
On February 1, we will be having another lunch with our families and Prayer Champions to gather together and reflect on the last 4 months. This is also a great time to get involved if you have not already done so. With new families regularly starting to attend our church, we are looking for more prayer partners!
